1. A 'war widow' used to be a wife whose husband died in a war.
Nowadays, it is a wife whose husband watches the war on television all
day and refuses to help her with the housework.

2. A Reservist is a civilian all the time and occasionally a soldier
while a Regular is a soldier all the time and occasionally a civilian.
Thus, it takes several reservists to fight one regular.

3. When the Prime Minister of Britain serves the interests of the
United States more than he serves the interests of Britain, he is in
danger of making the pages of history as a traitor to his own country.

(To be continued. May be quoted, requoted, misquoted without
attribution).

4. The United States will soon bestow an Honorary Citizenship (Third
Class) on Tony Blair. After all, he has done more for the United
States in the last 6 months than he has done for Britain in the last 6
years.

5. In war, a Truth Missile is more powerful than a Cruise Missile.

6. If only the CIA had managed to 'turn' Jacques Chirac into their
mole long ago, before he even became Party Leader, the United States
would be having an easy time now; but at least, they have Tony Blair.

7. To the Iraqis, the invading American troops
are of the WRONG skin colour,
speak the WRONG language,
hail from the WRONG culture,
profess the WRONG religion,
fighting a WRONG war,
against the WRONG people,
the WRONG enemy,
at the WRONG time,
in a WRONG desert environment,
in the WRONG weather,
led by the WRONG President,
fed the WRONG advice,
by the WRONG advisors,
employing the WRONG strategies,
for all the WRONG reasons.
Thus, the US will lose the war for all the WRONG reasons.

8. Robert's First Law of War states that, "When 2 countries can
inflict intolerable damage to each other, they are highly unlikely to
war with each other."

9. Robert's Second Law of War: "War happens only when one country has
a real or imagined military superiority over another."

10. Robert's Third Law of War: "If all countries can inflict
intolerable damage to any other, universal peace should ensue."

11. Corollary to Robert's Third Law of War: "Thus, universal peace can
be ensured by freely proliferating to all countries some means of
inflicting intolerable damage."

12. The Iraqis fight with courage, because that's all they have. The
Americans and British fight with bombs, because that's all they have.

13. A Briton is an American without the money or the clout. An
American is a Briton without the history or the civilisation. Thus,
the Iraqi is fighting the worst of the Americans and the British.

14. Democracies often go to war because only in war are its leaders
obeyed unquestioningly, and allowed an unfettered freedom of action
that normally, only dictators enjoy.

15. When a democracy goes to war against a dictatorship, it often
adopts the exact same methodologies of dictatorship; from lies to
torture, from starving the enemy civilians to indiscriminate killings,
from assassinations to the use of outlawed weapons.

16. Wars cannot be fought as democracies; only greater or lesser
dictatorships. Thus, war favours dictatorships and dictatorships
favour wars (Robert's Dictum of War).

17. Fig Leaf Tony gave the Americans the shred of respectability they
needed to cover their naked aggression in the Rape of Iraq.

18. Anatomy of a War: The Americans tried to DECAPITATE Saddam in the
dawn of war but failed; They tried to win the HEARTS and MINDS of the
Iraqi people but failed; Mostly because Saddam had many Iraqis acting
as his EYES and EARS everywhere; So the invading Americans and British
were met, not with OPEN ARMS, but bullets; And it is most likely they
will end up losing an ARM and a LEG together with a BLOODY NOSE.

19. A Briton is a kind of third-rate American while the American is a
kind of third-rate human being. Thus, the tragedy of Iraq.

20. US troops in Iraq wanted steel loin guards far more than steel
helmets. That's because, being American, they use their loins far more
than they use their heads.
